About us

Andrea Belz brings broad experience evaluating business plans, coaching CEOs, generating and presenting financial forecasts, and delivering presentations to investors and Boards. Dr. Belz has special expertise in integrating technology planning with financial analysis, particularly in the aerospace industry, the oil and gas industry, and in venture capital. Her most recent experience includes service as Special Assistant to the President for a company in the oil and gas industry, creating and managing one division while working on implementation of new systems for appropriate corporate financial reporting.

Belz Consulting, LLC, has been serving the Pasadena investment community and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) since 2002. Through her consulting practice, she has enjoyed an engagement of several years with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, providing guidance on strategic planning and technology program review. Her services include design and interim leadership of new projects. Similarly, Dr. Belz has served leading Pasadena investors for several years, providing financial analysis and supporting venture fund management.

Dr. Belz earned a B.S. in physics from the University of Maryland at College Park, a Ph.D. in physics from Caltech, and an M.B.A. in finance from the Pepperdine University Gradiazio School of Business. Dr. Belz has served on the Caltech Annual Fund Advisory Council and is a member of the Caltech Alumni Association.
